1. Who we are
We are a UK limited company offering the Genprosys Grow Platform: commercial lead qualification and related services. For this website and direct enquiries to us, we act as a data controller. Where we process leads on behalf of a business customer under a services contract, we typically act as a processor (or sub-processor) under that customer’s instructions and a data processing agreement.
2. Data we collect via this website
- Contact & booking data you choose to share when you email us or book a call via Calendly (name, email, phone, company, meeting notes).
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information and pages viewed, generated by essential site operation and server logs.
- Cookie preferences stored locally in your browser when you use our cookie banner.
We do not require you to create an account to browse this marketing site.
3. Purposes and lawful bases (UK GDPR)
- Responding to enquiries and scheduling demos: legitimate interests (growing and supporting our B2B offering) and/or steps prior to a contract.
- Operating and securing the website: legitimate interests (IT security, abuse prevention, diagnostics).
- Essential cookies: legitimate interests / strictly necessary for the service you request.
- Optional analytics cookies: only if you consent via the banner (none are loaded until then).
- Legal obligations: where we must retain or disclose information by law.
4. Client lead-processing services
When a customer uses Grow to qualify leads (calls, WhatsApp, email, SMS, questionnaires, CRM sync), the categories of data, retention and purposes are defined by that customer’s instructions and contract. Individuals whose data is processed in that context should primarily contact the relevant customer (controller), though we will assist our customers in fulfilling data-subject requests as required.
5. Sharing
We may share personal data with:
- Service providers who host our site, email or scheduling tools (e.g. Calendly when you book);
- Professional advisers or authorities where required by law;
- Technology partners involved in delivering contracted Grow services (under appropriate agreements).
We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where that occurs, we take steps required under UK GDPR (such as UK adequacy regulations or appropriate transfer mechanisms) as applicable to the tool and use case.
7. Retention
- Enquiry and sales correspondence: typically up to 24 months after last meaningful contact, unless a contract or legal hold requires longer.
- Server / security logs: shorter operational periods unless needed to investigate incidents.
- Contract and billing records: as required by law and accounting practice.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may have the right to:
- Access your personal data;
- Rectify inaccurate data;
- Erase data in certain circumstances;
- Restrict or object to processing;
- Data portability where applicable;
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based;
- Complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
